Awesome place with great amenities like wi-fi, a tv, and an electric kettle. The staff even helped me find a car service on my first visit, which I appreciated. I recommend it for a comfortable stay.

A delightful escape in Wales 🇬🇧🌟
What a lekker spot! Felt so welcome from the get-go. The pub's vibes are awesome, and the garden with chickens roaming is just cute. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and that Bangladeshi lamb dish I had? Absolute bomb!
Only downside was the steep stairs for my old dog, just a bit of a mission, ag man.

The evening meals come at ridiculously cheap prices, with several tasty options even under five bucks. Conveniently located near the Forest of Dean, it serves as a great base for exploring the natural beauty.
The family room felt a bit cramped, and the cleanliness wasn't top-notch with talc found on the carpet. The portable fridge was a hassle, providing little cooling and being noisy at night, forcing a temporary fix with a sink. Breakfast options were limited, lacking fresh options like juice or yogurt, which would have really improved the experience.

Charming Stay with Delightful Dining Options
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The dog-friendly environment allowed our pet to socialize, and the local Lea Spice Restaurant offered delicious Indian cuisine at dinner. We loved the charm of the village and the easy access to the Forest of Dean. A little fridge for drinks would be a nice addition!

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the huge bath for relaxing after a long day, and the delicious pastries for breakfast created a delightful start to each morning. Just a tiny downside with the steep stairs for my dog. it was a bit challenging for him.
